My first post here although I have been reading many of the discussions.
I made one serious attempt where I was absolutely ready to CTB but hadn't done my research. I acted on a childhood memory and hooked a hose up to the back of my vehicle and put it into the window. Taped it all up and sat and waited and waited. Of course later found out how effective catalytic converters are now. Devastated to say the least.
That was back in November and it's taken till now to feel more confident in trying again. I have a primary method in mind with a couple of back ups. Having had more time to think everything through I now also want to make sure my body is extremely hard to find. I have some ideas and have a plan so that I can make the possibilities of my whereabouts to be very hard for anyone to work out. Although I would welcome anyone's input to further my understanding.
I have set my deadline (no pun intended) for the end of February but likely to see myself away before this.
Does anyone know of anyone who has successfully found someone to come with them? Whilst I'm happy to go alone I can see the ideal of sharing such a personal journey with someone who is looking for the same outcome. Just to be perfectly clear if this happened I would have to be 100% assured that the other person was absolutely wishing to carry out the same purpose and to be utterly respectful of each other.
