  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

I'm going to use a pencil sharpener and slit my throat soon. Will this work?

Probably not. Cutting has a low success rate and pencil sharpener blades tend to be a bit dull, at least from my experience. You are more likely to end up with an itchy scar around your neck.

a sharpener blade in all honesty is quite dull. if this really was your way to go (i really wouldn't personally), a crafting/stanley knife would be 1000% more effective. like Jester said, you'd most likely just be left with a painful scar on your neck.

It will probably not work and you can easily get infected from a pencil sharpener and if you need medical help and go to hospital they might find out what you tried to do to yourself and may end up in different places so i would suggest you to not do it.

Nope!! Don't do it. No judgment but its a terrible idea. It just isn't going to work.
Honestly it sounds a bit bizarre but again, no judgment. 🤗🌹💔
