Im going to get SN what are some excuses to say what it is?

What can I say SN is to my parents if they ask what it is and the use?

Well, the standard use for SN is curing meats and fish but I don't think your parents would believe that.

I'm going to get a PO box and just have it shipped there, then sneak off to pick it up. That may not work for you though.

It completely depends on what you do in your free time.
If you like to paint or do makeup, say it's soluable soap crystals for washing your brushes.
If you like crafts and small projects, say it's borax for making slime... get creative based on what you could reasonably have lying around

Idk, if your family isn't well versed in arts they will probably believe you.
You could say you add the powder to putty erasers to clean them after lots of use...

Idk, you might just need to come up with your own idea, that fits your circumstance better
