  • Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

I'm almost 22 and from Poland. I experienced suicidal thoughts from ages 9 to 11, and I wasted 6 years of my life drowning in depression. I have no friends, I wake up between 4 and 7 p.m., and I barely worked so I have no money. Last year, I spent 5 months in a psychiatric hospital, but it didn't change much. I'm going to give myself 3 months and put in some effort to make my life better. If I will still feel horrible I'm just gonna CTB.

Here's what I'm planning to do:

- Start playing tennis
- Attend fitness classes.
- Start running again in the spring.
- Read 10 books a month.
- Message my old friends and people from the hospital - hopefully, some will respond.
- Wake up early.
- Work at least 6 hours a day.

unironically try introducing raw meat (from a trusted source) and organ meats into your diet. lots of nutrients that will regulate your mood and fuel your brain (animal fat specially)

A little piece of advice from my own experience doing this thing over and over for more than three decades.

It's amazing you're feeling motivated like this and decided to try. Truly.

The things that work best for me:

1. Fix your sleep schedule, going to sleep and waking up around the same time everyday is your best chance to make it work.

2. Eat healthier food, real food. Mainly protein and veggies.

3. The best way to fighting loneliness is to practice acts of kindness, compliment other people, say good morning, good afternoon, to everyone even strangers, offer hugs for people who need. Just try to be a nice person to be around, sounds like bullshit but it really works.

4. Don't push it too hard or you'll end up burning out and loose motivation. It's ok to not exercise everyday, but if you manage to move your body for as low as 30 minutes a day is already enough to get the hormones pumping again.

5. Start journaling, writing just a few lines everytime you feel like you've got some progress and celebrate. Be compassionate against yourself.

I'm cheering for you.
Wish you all the luck on this journey!
