That way I wouldn't be wasting My funds on typical rental expenses: I now have enough money to purchase the substances I need to die the way I want.
An annual pass from the feds is less than a hundred bucks, and the drugs I'd order to the States shouldn't take more than several weeks to arrive.

The fear I'll rent from REI or a similar company. As for locale/s I haven't chosen any particular park or forest or BLM land yet. In all likelihood I'll pick a place where I can legally fish and forage for food; I don't want to carry too much supplies.

I camp a lot too. I have also thought about CTB on a camping trip.

Pros: away from people, in beauty of nature, don't have to worry about being found (wild animals take care of any remains so you are being returned to nature outside of the coroner/funeral circle - maybe find some bones that could be cremated if anyone wanted any ashes), no way to prove it was suicide unless you left evidence like a note, very low risk of interference.

Cons: being out in the wild, it's cold this time of year (being a wimp here), hauling supplies (but it's a one way trip).

When I camp I buy #10 cans of dehydrated food - all you have to do is use a single propane cook top to boil water then add dehydrated food and let sit for 10 mins. Cans can be bought on amazon for $30. Propane single cook top can get for about $20. REI is expensive. I got all my camping gear at a local military surplus store that also had outdoor stuff. Amazon is good too.
PS not sure if it would be more comfortable in a rental cabin or hotel room especially if using SN. I thought being outside in a hammock would be relaxing.

Unless I am required to pay for each day of use before REI hands over the gear, then I can evade them and CTB.
