When I hear about someone getting cancer or dying I feel nothing. Death seems such a normal thing to me now. No longer something that is to be hushed and ignored as a topic but something that is to be accepted as inevitable and deserved.
Honestly I feel jealousy. Why can't this happen to me, someone who is ready to go so that I don't have to do it myself and cause my loved ones the pain of knowing I did it to myself?
