Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

Where the Despairing Log On, and Learn Ways to Die (Published 2021)
It has the trappings of popular social media, a young audience and explicit content on suicide that other sites don’t allow. It is linked to a long line of lives cut short.www.nytimes.com
Welcome back <3 I hope nobody harasses you againHey all,
It's been a while since I've posted here, and I wanted to say a few words.
I'm one of the original founders of the forum. I stepped away in 2021 after being doxxed by the New York Times and was forced to resign at that time.
Recently, I've returned in an advisory capacity to support the current site operator in navigating the situation with OFCOM, and to advocate more broadly for free expression and free speech, rights that are fundamental here in the US, and more important now than ever.
I want to be clear: I don't have any administrative powers or direct control over the site. I'm simply here to offer guidance, support, and solidarity with the community I helped create, and still deeply care about.

Also, not the place to ask this but whatever.

I knew that I needed to post a certain # of times. I didn't know about the 24 hour rule. That makes sense because I created this account about 12 hours ago shortly after I ordered SN. I can't see your PM btw. Hopefully by tomorrow I can PM people. Thank you."The permissions to create a thread, send and receive PMs, and use the chatroom will be granted automatically after you post a certain secret number of times and are active for at least 24 hours.
