I’m an idiot who drank SN impulsively

I mean I licked my finger and stuck it in the SN and licked it off my finger. I did it 6 or 7 times. I don't know the weight. My oxygen levels dropped to 90 and heart rate up to 140 very quickly. I have an oximeter. This continued to get worse and when I was in the ambulance I was given oxygen.

Good to know about feeling cold though. I hadn't heard anyone report that before. It makes sense.

I wonder if OP vomited at all. Drunk AND SN would turn my stomach inside out for sure.

Did you vomit a lot, could you breath ok? Must've been a pretty scary experience (just the paramedics and hospital bit would be terrifying for me! That's why I hope if I ever do CTB I don't get bad enough SI to call for help). Was anyone angry with you? Glad you are ok now, how long did it take to recover? Did you have any lasting effects?

I hope OP is just sleeping it off if they weren't sure about CTB, maybe they realised they should call for help.

I did something similar a couple of weeks a go. I dabbed it 6 or 7 times, i was drunk, on benzos and Domperidone. I told a friend and they called the emergency services. My oxygen levels dropped dangerously low and heart beat very high. I was freezing cold. I was put on oxygen but it wasn't helping much. I had blue lips and hands. When I was at the hospital I had to tell the doctor what the antidote was. He checked on his computer then I was given methylene blue for about 30 to 45 mins. Oxygen levels were OK then. The only pain was a light headache. I still plan to use it but not impulsively

SN stops blood cells from taking in oxygen so giving even 100% oxygen won't help. As you said, needed methylene blue

My friend persuaded me to go to hospital. She rang them. No one was angry. I didn't notice my breathing was bad or that I was tachycardic other than the equipment showimg it. I was quite out of it on benzos and alcohol. I would have been OK to die I'm the ambulance. I felt so relaxed but very cold.

As soon as I had had the methylene blue my breathing was OK

I'm very seriously ill with a severe ME. I feel ill all the time with that. I'm highly allergic to fragrances and chemicals like cleaning chemicals. This made me suffer badly. masks didn't stop it getting up my nose. These were making me throw up and cause me pain. I had to have anti sickness and pain relief intravenously twice because of this. That was much worse than the SN

The SN didn't cause me any problems after methylene blue but the severe ME was worse from over exerting myself and being exposed to the fragrances and chemicals.

Honestly I wish I could do that but that would ruin my life at this point. I've just went through the same exact thing a few weeks ago and the ambulance and mental ward didn't help one bit, sadly.

I'm sorry to hear that. I've not had help. I refuse help from mental health because I'm too ill physically to engage with them. I can't take anti depressants and can only take benzos very occasionally before I badly react if i take them too often. I do feel something positive has come from this and that is SN doesn't scare me now. When I do it properly it will be fairly peaceful

The best part is surviving a suicide attempt and reaching out for help for being suicidal usually have the same results on your life.

Thank you. I have a long history of over doses and self harm even before severe ME due to multiple mental health issues. This was the most serious though next to an amatriptyline over dose where I spent 4 days on a liver ward

Thanks. It's a neurological disease. I have a very severe version of it. Bedbound, in a dimly lit room, constant pain, severe fatigue, sensitivity to smells, light and sound. I could go on but I have nearly 40 symptoms. ME stands for myalgic encephalomyelitis. Please look up Kara Jane, the latest to die from it

I realise this wasn't originally my post and I hope they have survived their ordeal. If they didn't i hope they are at peace,

I've had loads of questions about my drunken experience with SN and I've answered loads of questions. If I feel able to, I will write a separate post about it. I hope it will stop some of the fear from some of the dubious scary accounts.

I'm not suffering from taking SN but I am seriously ill with severe ME so it may take a while before I do it

imo If they took 12 grams of SN they didn't survive unless someone found them and called the Hospital.

Well a few days ago iirc, there's this one post where the OP's failing at ctb because they only drank half of the recommended dose, so one can hope I guess

I think I am a fool too, I've tried a bit of sn 3 times, the last time I tried it my heart was beating really fast, i started to feel really dizzy whenever I tried to stand up, my breathing was really weird and after a few hours I started vomiting a lot..

I don't know why I tried it.
