I want to have either a black leopard or a cheetah.
Imagine having this little rat of a dog, a Chihuahua coming to show off it's balls, barking like crazy at you and then a black leopard comes in and just gives the animal equivalent of "ahem..." at the rat. Big dick energy.

I'd love to have a snake, I'm trying to get rid of my arachnophobia so I'd like to get a tarantula too. I'd also like to adopt old hamsters that need homes, because when I worked in pets at home when I was younger, we had an adoption centre and no one ever wanted the lil old hamsters.
I kept snakes when I was a kid. Also turtles.

I want my first tarantula to be a grammostola pulchra! I've heard that they're super chill. I originally wanted to jump straight to an old world, like a p. metallica because they're so beautiful but I don't think I'm brave enough haha

Aaaaww turtles are really sweet. I had newts when I was a kid, and I kept piranhas for a while.

Boy if this list doesn't ID me irl.....oh well.

This is going to read ridiculous.
Who the hell needs so many animals? But, they were mostly, kinda spread out.

Thinking back....I've had a shit ton of pets(!)
Some exotic, some closer to the norm.

Of course not all were exclusively mine. Some of them were shared with family and later live in g/fs or wives.

Let's see:

Started out with insects and kept several praying mantises and stick bugs, an ant farm, painted turtles, a snapping turtle, 2 aquarium frogs, a few salamanders, 2 scorpions, 2 finches, a few parakeets, quite a few rabbits (including angoras), 2 raccoons (at different times),1 horse, 2 goats, several cats and an incredibly bright schnauzer and a little later a dachshund, then two beagles.

That was childhood...may have been more.

During college I had: a rosy-tailed boa constrictor which grew to 6' before being sold to a pet shop, a ferret, a tokay gecko, an iguana, African cichlids (fish) and a mixed dog (ridgeback w/ lab).

Later adult life,...not so many pets. Just too much moving around I guess.

But my family always keeps a few running around.

Edit: Almost forgot. I'd choose.....

a chinchilla, a hedgehog or...a lynx.

Snake was well fed? Yeah, I had a large boa and a fully grown ferret simultaneously.

They only knew "of" each other. Never had a non-partitioned meeting.

The snake was very well fed. Also had turtles which ate ANYTHING and lizards and slow worms. Had to spend ages in the garden foraging slugs and spiders.

Had to remind myself about slow worms. Not common in US.

scroll up a few posts if you wanna see my ridiculous list of past pets. ;)

Just read it. I always had a fascination with amphibians and reptiles as a kid. Had a pond in the garden and spent my time in the library learning. Wow I was such a geek. The turtles grew from an inch across to a foot across before the tank exploded under all the pressure.

If I had enough money, and enough space, I'd like something dangerous. Something like an alligator.
