In my case I'd certainly see it as for the best that existence is eternally erased, I find it such a horrific tragedy how life even existed at all, causing so much meaningless suffering, senseless cruelty and torture as a result.
To me existence is something very evil, it's like a virus that just creates so much harm. If there was no existence there would be no suffering but rather just the absence of everything instead which is perfect. Only eternal non-existence is desirable, the true problem lies in existence itself.

Delusional or not, in my mind, that removes my right to judge and decide for them.

Absolutely not. I don't believe existence is inherently evil, and even if I did I strongly believe in every individual's right to choose. Calling myself "pro choice" while taking away other people's right to choose for themselves would make me a massive hypocrite.

If I was overun by emotions then maybe but otherwise it should just be me.

Killing those who dont want to die doesn't sit right with me but those who suffer a lot being forced to endure pain is also bad. It is like a catch 22. No one existing would stop all suffering but would also take lives from those who want to live at the time.

Still I find this existence completely pointless. There are things even I can still enjoy but in the grand scheme what is this cycle of birth and death? We only do it because of how we feel which is just brain dictatorship.

I am antinatalist but even making everyone sterile would probably feel hard to do. That is why I would leave everything be just let me out so I don't see the cycle repeating for others. Selfish maybe but what can I do. If no one was ever born we wouldn't be in this mess in the first place.

No. I can't make that decision for other people or beings. That feels like God level thinking to me and I'm glad I don't have that responsibility.

I do however wish people would put more thought into it before having children. To really process that they are creating an entirely new being here. Even with the very best will in the world- they likely won't be able to protect them from everything that could befall them and at least some of it could be incredibly unpleasant.

I'd also happily get into a moral discussion with whatever created this mess in the first place- if there is something behind it. Even I think if that meant them sending me to hell. I don't think I'd be able to hold myself back! I've never been shy to tell managers what I think of their management. Would I kill God if I could? Hmmm, perhaps... I think that might be for the greater good- if there is one... Unless of course they have some amazing plan that makes sense of all this.

But mass genocide? Even if it was quick and painless? I just don't think I could do it. I'm pro-choice. That includes respecting other people's choice to live. After all- it comes down to chance as to whether any of their potential children will like life or not.

As for animals, it's hard to even know if the majority of them are unhappy. They aren't suiciding en masse. That's something. I'm not so sure they analyse things the same as we do. That's where they have the advantage really.

I think maybe you'd get a different reaction if the choice was between destroying everything and preventing anything new from being created. The second one avoids murder.

I don't believe I have the right to choose for something that wants to live. Animals are not like us, they don't think about the future or the futility of their existence. They strive to live in the most terrible conditions.

I only have the right to choose for myself.

People with happy lives shouldn't have them taken away because a depressed person wants to.
I get that when you're depressed, you feel resentful towards "normal" people - but to end all life as we know it because of bitterness and jealousy would be extremely stupid and selfish.
Anyways, humanity will probably go extinct at some point anyway - even the universe will end after the heat death
