It has always bugged me that maybe death is a pleasurable "experience" and there's nothing to be afraid about. I've read that online that many people who have died briefly and been brought back to life, wanted to go back to the feeling of death.

To me I see death as the lowest of energy states. With sleep, coma, and anesthesia being other low energy states. The body likes low energy states. This is why people like sitting and watching TV, and sleep.

In my head I think it would be kind of annoying to be brought back from the dead, similar to someone waking you up from a deep sleep. It's like "ahhh I have to be a machine again"

Can't honestly answer without experiencing it.
But tbh, i don't think you can "feel" death, just because once you are dead you don't feel anything.
But i guess it all depends. Were i ressurected to become a rich and healthy man, with all the money to spend, beautiful women around the house and a life full of sucess and riches? Then yeah i would most likely enjoy being back.
But if i were to be ressurected to just resume my current life and be the same miserable piece of trash that i am? Then No, i wouldn't enjoy being brought back!

I'd love to experience it, as a "test run"!

I was put under general anesthesia during an operation.
Today,I view the time I was under as an unpleasant experience even though I had no consciousness during the operation to feel anything.I think it is an evolutionary necessity to view loss of consciousness as unpleasant. We are hardwired to think that way.

I don't think we always like low energy states. I take a tranquilizer. It makes me sleep long periods of time. It sometimes is very difficult to even think about taking it again because I just don't want to sleep again. So I stay awake some more until I can get myself to take it. I have to take it because I am on court ordered treatment.

It depends on whether there is an afterlife or not. If not, welcome the void, otherwise maybe I'd want to come back to shape up ig.

I wish I could die this way. I was put under without even knowing he was doing it. He was talking to me the whole time and boom I'm out. I wish I had a bad anesthesist who overdosed me by "mistake".

If you had a surgery , death is notthing more than when you were unconscious because of anesthesia . There is absolutly nothing that you feel or see after it . I never like to get back to life again with my current status . But I liked to get back to life in another body and in a different life

Same ! I was never told I was going to be put under. After administering the drug, The anesthesiologist told me to count till 10. I was fully concious till 8. After about 2 second I was totally out.

Wasn't it amazing. He didn't even tell me to count he just started talking to me about a tv show. What a blessing if I died like that that day

I think the idea of having no problems anymore and especially no more emotional pain, I wouldn't want to come back.

Truly! the first thing I asked when I got here was CTB using general anesthesia - https://sanctioned-suicide.net/threads/any-thoughts-on-ctb-using-general-anesthesia.20769/ .
Do you remember your waking up process ?? It was like everything around was in slo-mo.
