I'd be a tall pretty boy with long hair living in a nice neighborhood, riding my bicycle with friends everyday, not fearing being crippled because the roads are fucked, spending time with my gf going on dates without being looked at weird or like we're sinners. holding hands in public. going to nice places, beaches, spending time in nature. I know someone who matches this description pretty much perfectly. Career-wise, she's not famous or even super well-known, but she is a full-time tattoo artist and makes a nice living from it.

Out of curiosity, I texted her this very question. Her response? "Would've loved to have some writing or musical talent. Or both. Life as a singer-songwriter would've been really cool."

Guess the grass often is, indeed, greener on the other side.

The irony though is- without that childhood, I may not have put all my efforts into what I do now. So, maybe I wouldn't have pursued this path at all.

Weirdly, I'm not sure I would want to be super attractive. I'd like to be thinner but, that's largely my fault. But yeah, not sure I even like the type of people who place so much emphasis on looks. Maybe that's all of us though! I definitely wouldn't enjoy the amount of attention 'beautiful' people receive though. I've worked with people like it and other people were intrusive to the point of being rude. That was women towards women too. I dread to think what some guys were like around her.

Personally I don't wish to do anything rather I wish to be non-existent incapable of suffering for all eternity, to be conscious and have to experience anything at all is such a futile, torturous burden to me that only ever causes me to suffer, no matter what I'll always see existence as a terrible mistake and I'd never wish to be burdened with this existence, I'd always prefer to painlessly die than suffer for the sake of it in this existence that was completely unnecessary that there was never a need for at all. Non- existence truly is all that's desirable to me and I have no interest in suffering in this existence anyway, personally I just want peace instead and it terrifies me how a human can exist for so long just to die in agony from old age, only the peace of never suffering ever again appeals to me, personally I see no benefit to existence but rather it's something that just causes unnecessary suffering and so much harm, I just want to painlessly die in peace and forget about it all.

It's not the only reason but in any kind life / existence/ consciousness there is always the possibility of extreme suffering. Only non-existence forever can guarantee never suffering extremely never any neverending constant unbearable pain never any problems nor bad memories

A lot of the stuff you say here really tracks with me. The fact we can't customize our character in real life is so bad. In some distant world where I exist as I am but in a digital realm where I get to look however I want, life might be worth living. Terrence McKenna posited something of this nature but unless the singularity gives us something like this ridiculously soon then unfortunately I won't be around for it.
