Did you find peace just the very last time before all turns black?

You see it in articles and such that people always say "They regret it halfway down".

So I guess my question would be "Are you regretting this, if so, why?"

I think I would ask if its possible to be their friend in the afterlife if there is one, I've never met anyone in person that understood me like some of the people that have passed away here

If i could ask a dead person anything, it would mean that ctb is useless. Mere fact that i have possibility to torment deceased one with questions and get coherent answer will be an answer enough. It would mean that after death we still remember, still are self aware, still conscious, probably still feel something - all the things that make me want to die in the first place so what's the point?

I want to believe maybe the next life is better than this one but you have a good point sadly...

That's a good point, the implications of this wouldn't be great for the deceased person. Maybe if you could send a message to the afterlife and it'd be like a piece of mail that they could choose to read or not read... so those that are up for answering questions can do it, and those who don't want to remember anything about life can go on as they please.

Sadly, I don't think there's such thing as an "afterlife", but if there was any sort of pleasant one, I'm sure the whole answering questions thing would be voluntary.

It can't be better, at least not for me, if i remember anything from this one.
If i die, receive a question like "is it better there?", "are you at peace?" and have ability to provide meaningful answer means i'm fucked and need to research afterlife ctb methods asap because i actually remember my past life.

To be honest, I wouldn't ask them anything. I believe they are at peace, so let them be. Not everything has to be romanticised. They made the ultimate choice and got what they wanted

How did you find the courage to go through with it?
