  • Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

Back when I was depressed and suicidal (period of 8 years), I hated life. If you look at my old posts, you can see I found life meaningless, had no joy in any hobbies, felt tired all the time, had messed up sleep patterns etc. Earlier last year I got my blood tested multiple times. It turned out my free testosterone levels and total testosterone levels were low. After seeing an online clinic and endocrinologist and using testosterone gels and injections (neither worked personally), I almost gave up. I then read that having high body fat means higher estrogen levels and lower testosterone since fat cells secrete estrogen.

I then started my weight loss journey, and fixed my diet to include more red meats, skim milk, and removed sugary and fatty foods. As I dropped from 220 lbs to under 190 then 180 i got my hormones level checked and my testosterone levels were back in the healthy range. My symptoms of anxiety slowly disappeared. I used to be unable to leave the house due to crippling panic attacks. I noticed I was suddenly able to walk around parks and shops without feeling nervous. I thought about death less. I started to enjoy training more.

So for me, it was being horribly overweight and having low testosterone and iron deficiency which caused my depression.

Now I am not saying everyones cause and cure is the same, but it is worth a try. Get your bloods tested and see how your hormone levels.

Low testosterone levels can cause a variety of symptoms, including fatigue, depression, and sexual health issues.

Sexual health low libido, erectile dysfunction, and problems getting and keeping erections.

Energy and mood Fatigue, Feeling depressed, Low energy levels, and Poor sleep.

Body composition Weight gain and obesity, Decreased muscle mass, Decreased beard and body hair growth, Increased breast tissue (gynaecomastia), and Loss of bone mass (osteoporosis).

Cognitive function poor memory and focus and difficulty concentrating or remembering things.

I don't know much about testosterone or hormone levels but sounds legitimate. I'm pretty fat right now, ngl. I probably have really low testosterone even though I walk a lot and I try to lift weights but I'm not sure exactly how to do all the movements. I feel really stupid in the gym. Low libido sounds like a benefit! But I'm also not trying to recover, so oh wellzz. Sounds like a good move for anyone trying to recover. I've never been able to grow a beard, either. I wonder if that means I've had low T my whole life.

Congratulations on your successes!

yeah fat cells secrete estrogen which lowers testosterone, that can cause fatigue, sleep problems, anxiety, low moods, lack of motivation etc. I know because of studies and also because i was over 220 lbs at one point. Once i lost the pounds, i felt my symptoms improved and my levels were back in healthy range.

Best of luck in whatever goal you choose to do my friend
