Discussion If life passes before you eyes, are there any memories you want to see again?

I don't know what I'll experience when I die, but if your life does pass before your eyes? Is there anything you'd like to experience again?

For me, it would be a thunderstorm I saw almost 20 years ago. It was the most incredible sight I have ever seen.

It was a 14 hour drive, crossing a huge bridge over water, in heavy rain. It was the most crisp and jagged electric flashes of bright neon pink, against a pitch black sky.

I've never seen another thunderstorm even close to how dramatic this one was. It's rare I experience a good thunderstorm now. Often it's during the day... when I can't see how beautiful it is.

No . Nothing that isn't related to me actually executing my suicide. I don't want to remember anything of this hell . I'm glad that Non-existence forever will wipe any memories. Plus never any extreme suffering or unending constant unbearable excruciating pain. 1 micro second after my brain dies I will cease to exist for all time . It will be as if I and everyone alive now never existed. Same will happen to every human alive now

All joy I've ever felt in this life has had a dampener on it. It feels like some distant thing I can see but never interact with. Despite this, my 'happiest' moments have always been when I organize a hangout for my friends and I. I love watching them have fun. I think to myself "I did this. Hell yeah" so any of those moments would be more than enough for me

No, I wouldn't rather all I want is to be permanently unconscious free from the torture, pain and cruelty of this existence that I just always saw as the most terrible mistake, I just want all to be gone and forgotten for me.

I'd only be glad to never suffer again, I just want peace from this torturous existence that never should had been imposed at all, if it's up to me I'd just choose to completely erase this existence so it's like I never suffered at all, I just want to be free from the suffering of existing.

Yes, there are some memories I wish I could cherish forever. If only there was a way to relive my best moments of my life... if only...

I would love to relive those few moments i've had with my father before he passed when i was a little kid.
I would also love to spend again more time with my best friend who ctb few years ago.

I think these are the two things i would love to experience again.. it's disheartening to realize you no longer remember your father's voice.

The last time I ever saw my parents smiling or my great gaming time moments. Those were bliss along with cheating in school. That was a lot of fun

I think, when I walked down the pier near me. every time I do I imagine what it'd be like to just keep walking, it's always at night so it's just this abyss, there is something that comforts me in that, so having it be the last thing I remember would be nice

i think i would like to feel the memory of being hugged by my friend again
i can't burden them with my issues all of the time, but those few times they hugged me.. i felt a bit less alone for a short moment

This brings up a memory. Before my father died we took trips out west. In the desert you'd often see what we called heat lightening. I remember being I the top bunk of our camper, looking out a small window. Watching the lightning constantly flash across the sky. It feels safe. No worries or responsibilities. No job losses. No AI. No online forums. So simple. I feels warm

It's gone. No moment ever to compare to it now. Dad is gone. Brother is gone. Hopefully me soon. Just a tragedy of a family.

id love to go back to when i was in highschool during the pandemic and i was spending most of my days watching anime with my mom. feels like it was the most time i got to spend with her.
