  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

Since the vagus nerve makes the heart stop beating when being heavily pressured, I was thinking. If I tie a rope around it really tight then lean in with another rope around my carotid arteries, would I die faster or am I tripping?

I honestly dont know. I remember someone else before asking it as well, but i dont remember seeing any response. I dont think you would die faster, unless vagus nerve pressure causes sudden cardiac arrest, wich is hard to achieve unfortunately. It pure luck with vagus nerve. Otherwise, time of death might be the same as you are still choking to death. Hope someone else knows more

Guess I'll just keep it simple and hope for death to embrace me.

it's not that easy. I don't want to discourage you. I have been practicing partial and NN for months, it is not easy to pass out and the SI is very strong. Sorry, friend ....

I don't know. I'm unsure on how much pressure is needed to compress the vagus nerve. It seems a bit odd to use two ropes as well. All I know is that if hanging were easy then I wouldn't be typing this. Planning it in your head and actually doing it are two very different things, and I'm not just speaking of survival instinct. Sometimes you can try as hard as you like and put as much pressure as you are able, and for whatever reason the carotid arteries just refuse to compress.

It's okay. I almost succeeded once, but I was scared the knot on the scarf would come undone.

Sometimes it happens when I practice, the carotids not compressing. I just asked cause I read about it in a article but I was unsure. I'll keep it simple. It's already as complicated as it is.
