CTB has been lingering in my mind for at least 4 years, ever since i chickened out of an attempt 4 years ago. Usually my days are fine, but some days, the monsters return, and so does my desire.

That's really interesting and it does make sense. I suppose the more we think about something, the more ingrained and accepted those thoughts become. I guess our conscious minds then go on keep noticing things that affirm that ctb is our best option.
