Would a God be mortal? I doubt a being with that much power could be killed. Perhaps by another God maybe. You'd have to befriend them I suppose and ask for an enormous favour.

I'd simply make sure my strongest party member gets all the EXP while the others all stock support spells, debuffs, and healing potions to keep them alive.
