I yelled at my dog. I deserve the most painful death.

I am very hungry. On my period which is very painful. I couldn't get up enough to cook and didn't have the money to order. I left my room to use the washroom attached to the other bedroom. The dog was in the bedroom, and was howling as she always does. She lunged at me and I lost my cool. Told her I hated her. Said I would rather die than talk to her again. I am so scared she understood what I was saying. God, she deserves much better. She deserves only love and goodness but I am too fucked up.

I keep hitting my forehead. I want to cut my wrist but I can't find a sharp enough object. I hate myself. I really deserve to die painfully.

I really think first you should separate yourself from anything that could be used to harm yourself.

I love her so much. I hurt her by yelling such cruel things. I deserve to feel only pain

im also on my period, i feel you. i feel our animal friends can pick up on our stress and emotions, my cat has the habit of laying in the crook of my neck/shoulder when im sad or can't get out of bed. im sure your puppy understands you didn't mean what you said, and forgives you. you should forgive yourself too

I'm sorry this happened to you. Everyone gets frustrated and says things they don't mean. As a lifelong animal lover, I can tell you that dogs are some of the most forgiving creatures on the planet when it comes to their owners. Go up to her and talk to her in a nice voice and pet her. I bet she responds warmly to you.
