• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

Woke up crying, because all I can think about is my friend that has recently been diagnosed with Leukemia and I'd rather it be me instead of them. I feel like I'm the kiss of death in a sense, because everything I've ever touched or loved dies. My friendships, my relationships, etc... They have so much life ahead of them. They're smart, they are excelling in their schoolwork as well as their career, they have a family that loves them. They are someone that knows me inside out. I've been able to openly talk to them to some extent about wanting to die. They've checked up on me in the past when I've doing bad... They've provided me with a place to stay for a few days when I've been a complete mess.

All I can think about is how I wish it was me instead. Instead of them suffering like this. I wish it was me. They don't deserve this. Nobody ever does...

Anyone here have dealt with having a loved one suffering like this? Share your stories with us.

When I was very young I watched my mother battle stomach cancer! A joyous, loving woman defeated by her own body.

Its tough watching something like that go on. It sounds like your friend has helped you through some tough times. All you can really do now is be there for them. Support them through what they're going through and hope that things get better. I'm sure you being there for them would mean the world to them.

Want to like this twice. Devastating as it is for them, they might just pull through, and you might just have found a reason to stick around for a while.

Moon, if it makes you feel better, you are talking to all of us. You didn't kill us. If one died here, it's because of free will.

Part of living on this horrible planet is that bad things happen. Children are starving. Disease. Murders. Religious people say it is 'God's Will.' People pray and it does no good.

I understand your feelings. I honestly do and what you are feeling is perfectly normal.

Nobody deserves to suffer. All of us don't deserve to suffer, but suffering is part of being human condition. One of the reasons I personally wish I was one.
