Same. Being black (or any form of POC) is exhausting sometimes. Its so shameful to say but I really wish I wasn't sometimes.

OP, I hope this thread and the responses brought you some mutual understanding. I know better than to hope anything would change significantly in terms of racial bias/discrimination, but at least you know you're not alone. Also, significantly less defensive responses from white people on the thread than I thought would happen. I guess I've become too cynical.
