I've thought about hanging myself. But I think it would hurt too much. I want my death to be peaceful.

The only peaceful way to go that I can think of is an overdose. I've tried twice. First, 12 sedatives, then 5 ibuprophen before I chickened out. Both times I woke back up. Never sought medical attention so I'm hoping that I will die of liver failure within ten years.

I'm drinking lots of coffee in the hopes that it will ruin my liver. Not showing any symptoms though.

Dying of liver failure with be exponentially increased if you are a raging alcoholic.

The whites of her eyes looked like they were colored in with a yellow highlighter marker. Just touching her skin could make her bleed from her pores. And it took months. Even the final stage of dying took a whole month.

Oh, and FYI coffee actually helps the liver by detoxifying and producing paraxanthine which can heal scar tissue and undo liver damage.

You aren't going to die of liver failure, and to be honest, if you were to be dying of liver failure, you'd really wish you weren't. It's a horrendous and painful death.

I would highly recommend another method. It is not that from one day to the next you are going to die, there will be a suffering that will increase. You could "collapse" at some point and by the time a doctor sees you all the time used to deliberately damage your liver will have been of little use. Hanging yourself properly takes about an hour to die. Liver poisoning takes months to die in the most extreme way possible. Think of the worst stomachache you ever had and multiply by 100, that's pain magnitude, and then + by 8 months roughly without intervention...

Research the methods on here that's been done by many on this forum or stop trolling us.

Let's not forget muscle wasting, hepatic encephalopathy, jaundice, pulmonary edema, ascites, esophageal varices... the list goes on. Hanging is much more peaceful.

I had a friend who died of liver failure and he was bleeding from every orifice just before he died, and that was after months of agonising stomach pains.

Even drinking copious amounts of alcohol isn't a guarantee. My friend managed to die from it, but I never did. Drank like a fish for 20 years - I'm still here.
My friend's death was pretty awful. His wife and mother had to make the decision to pull the plug. He couldn't live without machines. That's what dying of liver failure is.

The treatment is to give you very strong medicine that causes extreme diarrhea, which also causes low potassium so you get that to counteract the diarrheal effects If you can eat, protein is severely restricted to a few ounces a day. No salt, low carbs. I have seen people cry and beg for foods they would enjoy. Esophageal varices cause bleeding, which flows out of your mouth. Then you get blood transfusions, after they put a tube down your throat to tie off or cauterize the bleeding vessels. Many medicines are filtered through the liver so they start with low doses, including pain meds. Oftentimes, kidney failure occurs, then dialysis. You will look like a very pregnant, very yellow scarecrow. And this goes on for many months, maybe years.

By the time this all starts happening, you will not be in a position to end things yourself.

Please please please don't do this. And yes, coffee won't do anything to your liver.

I am NOT a doctor but was educated in somthing like that.

Liver failure is NOT painless. Also your liver will survive a lot of poison before failing because that's the job of a liver.

Coffeine is not harming your liver at all. You have to drink booze everyday and cocaine would help too but even then it would take years. Also you will be addicted soon and cold detoxification is also painful.

Not the best way I guess.

You are more likely to wreck your liver but live in pain from it than actually die. Living with a diseased liver is no fun and it's a horrible death. And trying to do it by taking over the counter meds won't kill you.

Esophageal varices was what came to my mind. For some reason it was one of the worse ones. Not particularly gruesome or anything.

I just think about when someone with these gets into respiratory distress to be put to sleep while actively suffocating in front in front of you while frantically shaking his head and begging to be intubated. Immediately calling a stat mass transfusion protocol to be delivered from pharmacy.. needed it 10× over while trying hard as could to reach in there and compress the flow...

There is no reason for people here to all be telling you the same thing if it wasn't true. I hope you will read the resource and search the forum, so you can learn more about hanging and liver failure since you have a couple misconceptions about them. I hope you find the info to make the choices that work best for you.
