I need a gun badly, any will do tbh especially something with an extra kick to it (like a shotgun) only problem is I HAVE NO FUCKING MONEY for ANYTHING. Yes I'm in the USA and in a southern state so getting a gun wouldn't be hard...if I had the money to acquire one. Also to go to a shooting range I'd still have to pay a fucking fee, drive up there and pay for gas (only 1 car too), and I was hospitalized a few years ago for suicidal ideation so idk if that would affect my purchase or anything. No I don't have any friends or know anyone who owns a gun either.

God I hate this shitty fucking life it makes you suffer then it makes it impossible to actually reduce the suffering in any way and then when you've had enough of it and want to kill yourself it's hard as fuck to do.

I'm sorry for the way things are going... I've been in that situation and it's a difficult one to be in.

As for hospitalizations... If you were involuntarily hospitalized (court ordered), you won't be able to purchase a weapon in the U.S. My hospitalizations were voluntary and I was able to purchase a handgun (with a Federal background check) a few weeks ago.

I went voluntarily but got held over night and sent to a psych ward for about 10 days. After that I don't think I even followed up with my normal doctor and I certainly did not follow up with a therapist either.
