How can she confirm that everyone just dislikes you (or at least imply that is what's happening)? She wasn't there and isn't them. For all we know, their actions could be due to other things that may have nothing to do with you. You need a better therapist.

My mom always say this too, I think it's just a lazy consolation. And I agree that you need a better therapist.

Sometimes therapists say the dumbest things, a lot of them are really underqualified despite having a degree.

I don't think having a degree qualifies a person to be a therapist. There was a humanistic psychologist called Carl Rogers who said that therapists needed warmth, empathy, and unconditional positive regard. He believed that these could not be taught and that people either had them or not. The rarest is having unconditional positive regard. Sorry Draconian Alone but your therapists possesses none of these qualities. They are supposed to help and this twat is not helping, time to find another one.
