  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

I've known this user personally for a while now and can confirm this happened. I've seen all the documents from the NHS which explains what went on in detail. They can't remember much from the day which is to be expected after you go through a traumatic event where you almost die.

SN is not detected in medical examinations? In blood, urine, or something like that?

Thank you for sharing your experience op, even though it was an incredibly difficult snd traumatic to survive, being so close to death and still having the strength to openly share it here. My most sincere best to you going forward from here, i personally know someone who survived sn and had to learn to walk again after her spinal chord was affected from the lack of oxygen, fortunately she's doing fine now.

If your heart stops for 30 minutes you are definitely dead...

That's too generalised a statement really. If it's completely stopped then yeah you'll be dead, but cardiac arrest happens in a lot of different ways and it doesn't necessarily mean a 'total shut down', especially if it's starting and stopping w/ CPR and such.
Would be very interested in the full paperwork, could be medically useful, ofc with personal details omitted.

Granted, it was not planned (was impulsive) in the wrong place and not to mention that the medical details around it are not fully known, a lot more info goes into it which I do understand but will not disclose.

Yeah these experiences are starting to scare me a bit. Maybe naively I thought if I take SN, end up panicking and calling for help I'll be out the hospital in 2 days. Talk of comas and learning how to walk again are really worrying.

Really think it depends on how much you take, how quickly people take to come etc, but yeah I agree
