And I feel terrible and more emotional. I guess that has to be done so I have the guts to commit suicide. Am I thinking it right?

I guess so. whatever gets you there.
personally I have a deathlist; a list of actions I must take before I can finally pass on. on my second failed attempt I had gotten drunk and that helped a lot, it is called liquid courage after all.

Why did you stop taking your medication? Obey your psych, please. If you want to CTB, you can still do that on your medication. There are lot of people that takes medication, what is the problem with that?

Were your medications making you feel better? Do you feel you have to kinda force yourself to be in a uncomfortable position to make suicide more justifiable to you?

I'm not sure if stopping your meds will help you make your decision to ctb or make things easier overall but, I can say that a few members have ctb already because their meds ruined their lives. The entire pharmaceutical industry is beyond corrupt, that I do know. If your meds are helping somehow, maybe keep taking them
Peace/hugs

I've never even seen a psychiatrist nor have ever taken any medications. I suffer from major depression and bipolar along with several other physical issues. I got used to all of that and will ctb soon.

What works for you may not work for another and vice versa. You may or may not have the guts in spite of feeling shitty.

Would you like to talk about your reasons for ctb? And do you have a plan that you're confident in and have done all the prep work for?

Money and lack of love. I don't have a plan yet but I've been thinking ways to buy a gun so I can get the job done.

You may not be able to think clearly enough to plan if you're off your meds. Planning leads to confidence, and confidence leads to success. If you're unstable, you're going to have a hard time doing everything you need to do.

Coming off venlafaxine is bad enough on its own. You're going to feel like crap.

But I totally understand where you're coming from. I go around in circles with both sides...medicated me isn't real me and I cannot make my decision about life with it but then also accepting part of me wants to come off meds so I become more impulsive and reckless, easier to just crack on with killing myself.

I don't know the answer to be honest. But right in this moment I want the decision to end my life to be a thought out one. I want it to happen in a planned a careful way, not on impulse.

I thought I was doing it the right way before, I had come off some of my meds for another reason and became very erratic. Then made my plan and tried to do it. Only I made huge errors because I wasn't thinking straight. That put me in hospital. I very nearly died but didn't.

I don't know that this is helpful... I thought I'd share anyway.

You may be aware of this already, tapering off meds (if you didn't do this) such as those you'd taken instead of quitting cold turkey may reduce the negative effects from coming off them.

You might want to check out the Icarus Project for info about coming off your meds.

They are an anti-psychiatry group with great resources about how to come off meds safely. Their stuff can really help.

Are you stopping your meds so that you feel bad enough to end it? Is so, I think this is a very bad idea. If you were really ready, you wouldn't have to force the situation. Obviously, it's all your choice, but I think you should take a little bit and really think about your options.

Those are some serious medications to just stop, too. It can be dangerous to do that without tapering and is likely to make you feel very bad.
