Help I need to talk with someone who is/has been mentally ill for many years.

Hello everyone! I have been doing all my prework for finally getting out of here. I am 31 years old and have been in and out of mental hospitals for 13 years.
Before I go, I wish to speak to someone like me. Someone who have been struggeling with mental illnesses (bi-polar, schizotypal personality disorder, anxiety, deppresion)
I cannot speak with my familiy, friends or the doctors about it. They just put me in a room in a hospital, and then after being bored out of my mind for 2-3 months they let me out.
I dont mind if you are a positive person or negative person. Also I have been lurking on this site for a couple of years, but never really posted anything, so I dont know how it works, but if you could send me some sort of DM I will answer you.

Yes, I am starting on quetiapin again because I cannot relax. The past 2 months I have been very hyper, and very active. I feel like I am losing my mind because I cannot relax, the medication helps me abit.

No. I have accepted I wont ever get rid of the illness. I just want to feel like normal people do. Have dreams, and wanting stuff. Not just doing stuff because it is "expected" of you. If I wont ever experience this ever again, then whats the point

They are. They have helped me alot too tho. The wrong diagnosis and wrong medicine was horrible, but I dont blame them. They are only human, and its all very new.
I did end up with the correct medicine and diagnosis after a while. .

Yea I'm in the same boat ... I don't know how i feel anymore ... Everything is just so blank ...i just keep thinking about random things and stare at walls and I can't even sleep if u want to during the day..... I wish dying wasn't so difficult as the society wants to restrict us from dying but doesn't have a solution to our problems then why live ....
