Oh, this is a tough one. But just yet, you don't have enough information to go on. That makes it even harder.

First, several things might have happened she may have passed on, she may be getting help - in which case you also likely will not hear from her for a few days, or she may be sleeping it off.

If she's got help, she's headed for the hospital and calling you is not going to be the priority. Getting her well, and likely admitted for a while, will be.

If it's any consolation, it's not that easy to OD on Lithium, especially all at once. Most ODs happen to patients who have been taking too large a dose over an extended period of time. (And trust me, I have LOTS of experience with Lithium!)

Right now, it's time to take good care of yourself. You are likely to experience that moment of loss of contact more than once as your brain tries to work it out. Try to let the pictures flow through your brain and then let them go.

It's a good idea to cuddle up and be warm and cats are always a good plan.

We are here if you need us, no matter the hour. There is always someone around, so let us know if you need anything.

To cheer you a bit, I am sending along a picture of one of my cats. His name is Checkers and he is a right goofy ball of fur. He loves to cuddle with hoomans.

Wishing you peace and warmth.

I adore Checkers, what a handsome and loving boy. I don't know what I'd do without pets.

I think it's so upsetting to me because I drank antifreeze a year ago, which has similar slow and painful effects. So it broke my heart to think of someone going through that when I know how it feels to an extent.

If she's left us, I hope she's at peace wherever better place her bus takes her.

If she's been found, I hope it was in time to reverse the effects (so she can at least be safe and not in physical pain) and that she hasn't damaged her organs or anything.

Thank you so much, your words really helped, especially the part about letting the images flow by and letting them go. I'll remember that one.

I hope she just pops up online, with a bit of a headache!

If she has gone, then you did an amazing thing by just being there for her. I hope someone does that for me one day ❤

That made me laugh, I think I'd absolutely dissolve with relief.

Thank you, I can't stand the idea of someone being alone through that, especially if they've felt alone throughout their life as well.

Despite the abrupt grief and emotions; I'd do it for you. I always think maybe a lot of us would be okay if we were closer together in our offline lives. It makes me wonder how many people close to me are feeling this way but keeping it hidden as well.

(I keep meaning to say this, but I love your avatar. My sister and I used to send funny/dark-humor Moomin pictures back and forth all the time. Every time I see you posting somewhere, it makes me smile.)

It's also great news she'd been discharged and not hospitalized . Sorry I wasn't here for you and for her , but I really felt your pain . People providing comfort or company to ctb (impulsive or not) experience real trauma and are stressed to an extreme . Even if you're pro-choice and understand things , it's tough . I can't even write in goodbye threads .. So absorbing that , the actual death (possible) of someone you are actually talking to ... It's one of the hardest things .

I'm SO OVERWHELMED, but in a GOOD WAY. Thank you for sticking with me through all that!

And thank you for the hugs, I'll let her know how much people care about her. Sending hugs of gratitude back to you ♡ ♡

you worded that beautifully. that's exactly what was going on in my head; I just couldn't put it into sentences. ♡

don't be sorry, you have to do what's best for you. anyways, you're here now and you're constantly around, supporting me and others and cheering us up. ♡
