Not to be a Debbie downer, but all of that almost always comes with the cost of selling your soul, being brainwashed, abused (psychologically, sometimes physically or sexually), and being made to do the same to others to keep in good favor. And there's always the threat of being thrown out into the street, homeless and ostracized if you step out of line or the guy in charge is having a bad day. Seems like such a high cost for a superficial sense of "purpose" and "belongingness" to me
Sounds like regular society to me. There's so much to talk about men grooming young women, then completely claiming that women are fully capable of making their own decisions.
Unionizing to get higher wages will get you fired.
Not navigating the unwritten rules of office politics will get you fired.

I get where you're coming from but frankly,
This whole world is a pile of fucking shit.
There is no such thing as freedom.

It is easier to live in prison then it is to live in the outside world of the United States. And I speak from personal experience. But I deeply respect you voicing your opinion and I am in no way trying to make you feel discredited, I'm very glad that you pointed those things out as they might be very beneficial to anyone who read them. 🙂
I have ideas, contact me

I suggested doing something fun before in a post like you mentioned, but 90% were against me because they felt that might give them a reason to live... Shit you only hear on SanctionedS
I find that very very funny in a dark way. I think if anybody is still willing to open themselves up to possibly having another reason to live we should all get together and do drugs

I could only join one if it was about doing good things.

And also giving me the choice to die and provide me with poisoned wine.

I honestly think drugs are overrated. Other than hallucinogenics really body highs just don't amount to straight up psychedelic galaxys.

I deeply respect that you would want to do good things. But I want you to realize regardless of what you choose with your life, you don't owe anyone anything... I believed in redemption to the point where it killed me and I've been dead for years just lingering and no one's forgiven me... I'm such a terrible stain and yet here are these people...
Going out destroying lives, and claiming me to be a progenitor to their illness... No. I saw the errors in my ways, and now I just don't want to be alive in this disgusting world. If you have the heart to love and to nurture and to do good things, then I hope you find the Heart to Love yourself. I found that the people who hurt other people are incapable of love at the time of doing the wrongdoings... So don't feel bad for what you've done if you can help it.
You've owned up to your mistakes. I just hope you realize that you matter now as you are regardless to who you were in your past.

Not a cult but I attended a Greek Orthodox Church recently and wow their services are intense. There is a lot of incense and chanting and singing the first hour of the service. They have books in the pews telling you what to say and how to follow along.

Maybe if you haven't found a cult yet, you could find comfort in the repetitive/mystical feeling rituals of some organized relations? That was at least my goal.

I am also open to suggestions of cults/cultish religions to join. Any group win a strong community where I could feel some sense of belonging.

for a while i've been joking with people that i would make a really good cult member, it's not a joke though. been entertaining the idea of joining one since i'm just wasting my life anyways. might as well right? seems like a fun time right before all the crazy stuff starts happening.

I've thought about this, too. Most likely, it'll make me feel worse, which is fine by me. If somehow, some parts of it are comforting to me in any way, despite all the shitty sides to it, I would be happy to have a little comfort and sense of belonging, for a little while

Yeah Mormons are definitely not cool. They were cool in the past (old west) when they ambushed settlers and massacred them for... reasons? But they don't do stuff like that anymore. Amish are cool but it looks really hard and you probably have to be born into it.
I live in Utah full of Mormons 🙄

What have we start a sovereign nation and just get a bunch of suicidal people to live as farmers?

We could literally have it where people who decide to unalive themselves could ceremoniously volunteered to be sacrificed sort of like how the old Aztecs did.

At the very least I would gladly provide a society with no cell phones, no drugs, anyone who commits SA would be burned alive. And everyone gets a wife/husband/or same sex partner and a pet. And if anyone abuses their wife/husband/partner they are pulled apart by wild horses.

We'd basically be like the Mormons in Utah but we wouldn't dress like it's the 1800s.
I'm sure if enough people are willing we could actually make this happen 😏

I'm a independent fundamentalist and while I believe in some of their core values, I do sincerely believe that they are ignorant to the validity of homosexuality being a natural occurrence.
I'm not going to argue the Bible with you but here's the thing we don't follow the laws of Moses...
And no, homosexuality wasn't part of the 10 commandments that Jesus added to.

I'm pretty sure you can just show up to a Jehovah's Witness service, but that's not a very nice cult. My friend was invited to one and showed up stoned. Said he thought they might beat his ass if they found out he was high at church because they sounded so pissed off all the time, ranting about "unbridled sex!"

I was raised in a cult. Although the sense of community and belonging is nice it's kind of a double edged sword. Even though on the surface people will be welcoming and will talk about the cult being a place of openness, family, love and community, in reality you are always expected to tow the line in everything, you can't ever be truly yourself or have an opinion that publicly diverges from the consensus due to this overwhelming and often unspoken aura of judgment and fear that is widespread in some of these communities. For example, when I was a kid, I loved playing videogames and watching anime, these two things were not allowed and for most of my life growing up I had to do it in secret. I got caught once and got a beating I still remember to this day. The first girlfriend I ever had as a teen was from this same cult and I had to keep my hobbies secret from her as well for fear of the others finding out. But I guess I can see why this lifestyle is attractive to others (having structure, being part of a group etc...).

I was actually about to mention "Fuck For Forest' as a joke but since you seem to be into orgies and stuff... I think they're residing in Mexico these days so if you're lucky you could even get some N for ... eerm ... coming down after the party ...

They used to have this slogan in the past: "Save The Planet - Kill Yourself"

You'd probably get along with them really well and ... damn ... I want to go now as well !!

I do think that there's a lot of validity to Jehovah's witnesses in terms of beliefs... But they're not a good group of people to live with, they're judgmental and emotionally cruel and ex communicates anyone who disagrees with the leaders of their local Kingdom Hall. They're a cult but they're not like orgies and drinking the Kool-Aid kind... One star review for sure.

I'm much too fun to be in that cult.

What cult were you raised in? I do completely understand not being allowed to be yourself however as a man I find the more I open up the more people I lose, so I'm not afraid to keep my individuality a secret. I just want people who don't cheat, lie and steal around me.

Honestly I could take or leave orgies. Despite what I literally just said... I enjoy sex, and I do it at least a couple times a week with my respective partners... But like I meant exaggerated fun. Not fuckfests

Considering Heaven's Gate was in '97 and Peoples Temple was in '74 you'd have to be pretty lucky to happen to find a suicide cult. It would probably be easier to start one.

Though getting the barbiturates to mix into your flavor aid is probably a bit tougher today than 25+ years ago :'( If we can worship cats I'd be down.

If it's organic it's recreationally allowed 😉 golden teachers are the best teachers

I'd be cool without a suicide cult. But cats should be more respected than people.

I'm tired of doing shit by myself so I've often felt it's a surprise I haven't tried to find a cult because of my autism and wanting routine.

I would love a death oriented one. I have no friends. I need something to keep me stable while I plan my demise. Why not a cult?
