I might get forced into a hospital today

I can't stop crying I can't feel better I have no hope I don't know I'm scared helpless I'm just gonna cry then I'll go home to cry I don't have the strength
Ok never mind she was just calling my psychiatrist to see if this is a bad side effect or something

The quality of the ward you end up in is always going to be anecdotal. I've been in some really poor quality ones in my time. I've seen a hospital go from Really good quality food to getting a new contractor several years later and it's like prison food and they restrict showers down to a 2 second drizzle every time you push a button it's pretty miserable.

I'm speaking from one right now. So far it is a positive experience , everyone is so kind and attentive.
We have little actives for the weekdays to get your mind off things.

Of course it really depends on where you go to. I heard horror stories which made me nervous when I arrived. Especially since when I was checking in, a code blue was called because an 80 year patient fell and couldn't get up.

What's the most serious code and its color? Is there a lockdown that follows?what happens?Interestingly enough i just recently watched kpax.It's about a guy who says he's from another planet. But he seems to have some mysterious abilities. They don't know what to do with him so they put him in a mental asylum. His interaction with other patients is fantastic.

They dont torment me when I am with people. Most of time at least.

If won't mind, what country are you in?Because when I'm currently sharing a room with someone. Otherwise if I get a private room it would have cost me$200 a day . I couldn't afford that especially because I had to go on an unpaid leave from work

Wow, crazy price! I am from Finland. I was 7 days in mental hospital 2023 spring. It cost me about 200 euroes. (meds, food, room, etc)

I live in Canada and the entire stay is free if I stay in the ward. But private rooms cost $200 a day

I can't complain because if I was American the cost would be wayyy higher even with just basic care.

My first trip to mental hospital was 2010. It was different place and building. I had to share my room with guy who was hallucinating being on phone all night (talking to himself)
