Great article. Finally, someone listening from the perspective of the lost and the suicidal.

No, God and the universe don't have a special vendetta against those who cannot go on or who have a sickness of the mind and not the body.

I appreciate their compassion.

Again, the idea of suicide being wrong is just fear-mongering. Nothing to do with the Bible, but everything to do with peoples prejudices. I'm glad there are some out there who can understand that.

Thank you for directing me to that blog post, @filthyrottendirty — I notice that the author of that blog post, Sarah J. Robinson, recently published a book. It looks promising and I think I will buy it on Kindle. The title is the same as the blog post: I Love Jesus, But I Want to Die.

Thank you. I have faith and love God and Jesus but I really want all to be over and it sucks because nobody understand that both things are equally true. This article does.

Sure, but at the end the smiling author of the article says to: call hotline and check with dr.

I admit I skimmed this...but it if it ends like this...I just don't know.

Cool blog, interesting mental gymnastics, and a good message.

Yeah well, at least it didn't recommend confessing to your Priest. It's at the bottom, and it probably helps some people. But pro-choice hotlines are better.

Anyone who condemns any religious group with a broad brush is as bad as the religious fundamentalists who do the same to infidels.

Anyhow, Jesus seemed to be a bit suicidal, if anyone has read the story. Granted, it would have been an altruistic suicide, taking things at face value (and suicide with the promise of resurrection is an odd concept), but still a suicide. And the method? Forget about it.
