Story:

I left this site about three months ago. My username was farawaystar. I left because I actually tried to get help. I went to a psych ward for two months.

And honestly? The people there were kind. Really kind. Everyone had their own story. Some had BPD, some bipolar, some schizophrenia. Some were suicidal like me. We understood each other.

But I was a mess. The first week, I tried to run away. I was fighting with the nurses, even encouraged other patients to turn against the staff. They said I had traits of a psychopath and bipolar 2. They put me in isolation for two weeks. They gave me ECT (electroshock therapy).

And it worked. I actually felt better. They also started me on behavioural therapy. After isolation, I went back to my friends in the ward. It was a good journey. Hard, but good.

But I was so excited to leave. I thought I was cured. I thought I could go back to normal life.

My family paid $15,000 for all of this. And now? I relapsed. I didn't tell anyone. I'm back here.

On top of that, I lost $10,000 trading. I'm broke. But honestly, I don't even care anymore. The money doesn't matter.

I've done everything I could. Therapy, hospital, meds, ECT. Nothing stuck.

So here I am again. Back on SaSu. This time with new diagnoses and no hope left.

Now worse than ever. I'm so sorry for you because it's easy to slip.

If they gave you electroshock therapy without trying any other options first that would be extremely irresponsible. Also, you can't just receive treatment and expect to be cured for the rest of your life. Some conditions are lifelong, and you actually have to implement habits and possibly medication into your everyday life to cope with your illness. Even if you think you're stable. I'm so sorry you had to lose so much money just to still be struggling in the end. I really hope that things can improve for you because you have gone through so much and deserve to live peacefully. ❤️

I was not given ECT but I was feeling ok for a bit after leaving the hospital. I quickly relapsed too. When your freedom is taken away and you are secluded from this shit world, you forget how shit it really is until you are released back into it :/

They said I had traits of a psychopath and bipolar 2.
Lovely, I'm sure they must have really thought they were helping you by telling you such poisonous bullshit about yourself. These fucking reptilian technocrats, what the fuck gives them the right.

ECT works, but only temporarily.
If you truly want to get better, you'll need a lot of money. A lot.

The entire mental health system is the biggest lie I've ever heard. Real mental health treatment needs a lot of money — and I really mean a lot. Fuck this miserable world

literally the same happened to me at the start of this year lol, except i had done ect before going to the ward, when i got out i thought i was cured, i was going to the gym, had friends ( i spent the last 5 years of my life in complete isolation and loneliness with zero friends), was actually finding joy in life which i thought it was impossible because of my anhedonia, hell i even travelled out to another state in my country just to watch a concert ... 2 months later and here i am again, no friends, no will do to anything, only thinking about death, yeah ... already planning to ctb somewhere around the next 2 months, i alrady have the sn and all, i honestly completely give up, id go as far as saying im even worse than what i was before

Don't try trading the markets. Just invest in good mutual funds for the long term.

Also, there's nothing wrong in visiting Sasu.I'm not actively suicidal right now and I visit the place often. I still find it interesting for other reasons. It's got good recovery resources as well. Being here feels less alone.
