• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I left a great job at a hospital. Good pay, great coworkers and management, not difficult work, decent hours. I left all of that because of my struggle with mental illness. Now I'm sitting in a group home with no job, nothing to do all day. I need the structure that a job provides, something to force me out of bed to go do something. I applied for one last week but they haven't called me back. I plan on applying for another one but I dont really want to work there. Im just mad at myself for ruining another good thing

I can relate.
Depression and mental illnesses make us make lots of wrong decisions.
I used to work at a university which gave me A LOT OF MONEY but I was so mentally unstable that I was like "Fuck this. I'll quit and be a NEET".
I would probably have already visited the country of my dreams: Japan if I hadn't been such a fool.

However, let me tell you something, good opportunities will show up again sooner or later.

I'm finally working and getting a decent salary again. I'm even saving.

If I could do it you can also do it but try to get as much help as you can so that you don't make the same mistake.

I really hope things get better for you and remember: No matter how much you think about your past and future, you're still in the present.

Hugs

Sadly I dont have my own room. And they dont let you have like sharp objects or matches or anything. I can close the door though, and hopefully soon I'll be able to leave the house
