All I wanted was to get out of my mind for the past 7 months but Alcohol had zero effect on me because of LAI Antipsychotics in my system.

I drank like two cups of whisky a few months ago which made no difference to my state of mind, it was like I just drank water.

I tried half a glass of whisky today and it completely killed the 24/7 dreadful feeling, which means the evil effects of Antipsychotics are wearing off, if i could do this every day I could probably put off killing myself until I die of some other cause.

I still want to die but at least I can have a break for a couple hours during the day now, maybe this'll help some of you guys/girls.

I used to feelt this tension in my head when i drank alcohol and was on psych meds.

Weed felt even better, I think it lasts much longer in the system than alcohol does.

As a current alcoholic, I will tell you this is not a road you want to go down. It's all fun and games now but wait until you feel the need to drink every night. Then wait until you're drinking even though you consciously don't want to. Then wait until you have to drink to NOT feel like shit.

It's ok to have a drink or two every once in a while to celebrate or even relax after a frustrating day but this is NOT a replacement for medication. You think your life is bad now but addiction makes it so much worse. Take care and be careful.

I second this! Big time. Add to that opioid abuse. The effects even wear off very quickly. But to be fair, OP just meant he understood why people become alcoholics. A few years ago I felt disgusted by the smell of alcoholics in the bus. Now I feel pity for them.

Alc works wonders in improving my sleep quality šŸ˜‚ my tolerance is rlly bad which ig is a good thing since a can of beer guarantees me 10 hours uninterrupted sleep. The warm fizzy feeling is so great

I don't know why you take anti-psychotics... but unless it's for schizophrenia or something I personally think they are very dangerous and not worth the benefit... Think they are so damaging for various reasons short and long term. :/
