Going to the dentist is physically agonizing. Periodontitis has messed up my gums a lot so the cleanings hurt like a bitch because of the exposed roots of the teeth. I'm looking forward to never having to do this ever again. I hate it so much.

They're certainly unpleasant places. Well done for continuing to go though - many people just stop because they don't like it. I take painkillers about an hour before having an appointment, no idea if it helps or not but mentally I feel more prepared knowing I have them in my system.
Those places are so awful to me, it sounds so horrific what you have to endure, I despise how the flesh prison that is the human body can cause so much suffering to be experienced.
