I had to always do the right thing even though I was always on the verge of snapping, even though I had unhealed trauma and mental issues. Even though I went through insane abuse I had to always treat people right. And I had to go to school and I had to help my family pay the bills when we were in the motel.
My family was nice. I couldn't let any of them go through what I went through. I was only 18 years old. My brain wasn't developed yet. Yet it had to be developed. I had to do the impossible. I had to vent outside where nobody saw me. I had to practice self-awareness. This was in 2014.
It was insanity.
