I decided to test my SI by placing a plastic over my head and closed it tightly with a belt. Initially i did not feel anything, but I soon felt panicky and breathed rapidly. The trick to lessen the feeling is to take control of your breath and try to breathe slowly. I took it off because my dad was coming home soon. I could sense him coming. I am not encouraging anyone to do this, just giving my personal account

what are you using? A belt? Scarf? rope?
Also, what are you tying it to? A doorknob? Or something else?
I'm trying to figure out the best thing to use and the best place to tie it. I only have one chance to get it right, so I need to make it work the first time.

I think as you run-out of oxygen you panic 100% no matter what

I am not saying you will be completely relaxed but taking deep breaths will alleviate some of the panicky feelings from SI
Also note everyone you will NOT feel 100% comfortable or even 75%. It also depends on your mindset.

I have a solid setup but my SI and guilt keep me from doing it. This is the place I got my information from. https://archive.ashspace.org/ash.xanthia.com/suspension.html
I am simply sharing what you can find too when searching on Google.

Maybe a sedative or a sleeping pill would help with that.

I think if you'd stayed longer it would've become too uncomfortable. This is why the inert gas methods exist.

I don't think this is true. It's the inhalation of CO2 that induces panic rather than the absence of breathable oxygen. Correct me if I'm wrong though.

That's medically correct afaik but there are are other things that induce panic, eg . thinking you are going to die soon, pain, fears of failure, fear of being found etc.

The best hack, the golden rule to tackle your SI is: DON'T BE TOO SERIOUS.

Why teenagers are so successful with CTB? Because they still think its a game.
As when you're sitting on the edge of a cliff, jump, and get respawned in some fantasy world.

Teenagers are the least successful.
1 in 14 attempts completed compared to 1 to 4 attempts in old people.

I mean - if done right (fool-proof methods like jumping or full suspension).
We don't count gestures and such.

The build up of CO2 in the blood, not inhalation, is what triggers the response

Sorry, but how does that prove that you have overcome SI?

Instead of hyperventilating and panicking i decided to experiment so i took bigger deeper breaths. This helped me keep the bag on longer. I made it to 15 breaths on panic mode and started to feel a little weak.

What happens when the co2 builds up in your blood? How do you avoid ripping the bag off?

So you managed to hack in 5 minutes, what evolution took thousands and thousands of years to perfect? Respect

I did a few "dry runs" prior to my attempts with eb/N2. Sat with the bag over my head, no gas flowing, and got used to it being there and the eventual difficulty with breathing. And not being able to see, as the bag fogs up. Onset of hypercapnic alarm --the sense of anxiety/desperation that occurs when CO2 buildup in the bloodstream gets too high-- takes a lot longer than you might expect, too.

Just getting used to the bag and the change in breathing does help, as @Deadgirl says, and I'm very glad I did those dry runs, but I discovered the hard way that it doesn't necessarily work when you're attempting for real. Survival instinct is damnably acute at discerning when you're practicing and when it's for real.

Six failed attempts later, each time stymied by SI, here I sit writing this. The closest I got was greyed-out vision.

Constriction starts <SI starts<SI fails/stops<Euphoric chemicals are released<pass out< convulsions start < blood flow concentrated on essential organs (brain, heart, lungs)< lower priority organs begin to fail < permanent brain damage develops< major organs begin to fail< essential organs begin to fail < irreversible organ failure occurs < death.

Essentially, once the liver reaches late stage failure you're done, even ICU may not be able to revive you at that point. Once it shuts down, you're more than likely going to die, guaranteed permanent damage. The essential organs typically don't fail until everything else has, so the liver is pretty much the big indicator.

Drugs are a huge gamble. The only ones we know for sure will work are illegal or highly regulated. At least with hanging even us cavemen can understand it(with some trial & error)

Can't get N, my bank blocks any transactions towards cryptocurrency agencies.

All I have is SN, desperate method for desperate people.

Oh man crypto isn't the only transaction method regarding A, I can't mention them here for privacy reasons but if you get in contact with him, he has a few other reliable methods.

So you say because you've taken N before?
Is this experience talking?
SI kicks in before drinking N!
You'll know when you decide to do it and attempt it...

How long would it take till death comes?
