• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I went to my mother's place of work after 5-6 years and she told me to wait until shes done and then we will leave
in the mean time, I met quite a few of her colleagues, some had even seen me grow up
and there came this one colleague of my mother's and i said hi to him and he was kinda startled to see me but then passed me a smile and started patting my head (its normal in my culture for the elder to do this to a younger one)
later that man started talking to me and started talking about his daughter that passed around 2 years ago (she was around my age and i apparently reminded him of her) and he started to cry
i feel so guilty bec i do not rly have a will to live myself and ig i just rmred how my mother will probably have it worse since im an only child and shes a single mother and im all she has
i also feel guilty for reminding him of her.. i didn't know that would happen otherwise i wouldn't have gone to say hi
i just hope he finds a way to move on and be himself again

sorry it is so lengthy

You're such a kind person. It may have been sad for that man but it could have been bittersweet for him. I expect a part of him was happy to remember her. It wasn't your fault though. It's just chance at the end of the day. I expect a lot of things remind him of her.

I'm in the same boat as you with my Dad. I don't want to hurt him. It's very difficult.

This post resonates with me strongly because I, too, have to deal with the fact that I'll be leaving my nephews and niece behind to almost wonder what happened with me. Im sure they would miss me. As for my parents, I sometimes think they would be better off without me.However, I doubt that will be case. It just makes me feel like I should continue to persist and linger around for them, which sucks because I loathe this cruel world.Regarding your scenario, you shouldn't feel guilty or upset because it wasn't your fault. I wouldn't be so harsh towards myself if I were you. It just means that you have got a kind soul.

The fact is that we all have to die and lose everything someday, it's just an inevitable part of existing here, there is no escaping from grief and loss. And anyway nobody is obligated to delay the inevitable and continue suffering, it's up to the individual when to leave and if people don't wish to deal with loss then they shouldn't procreate. But anyway best wishes.
