The permanent side effects of fluoxetine continues to progress. I think I partially figured it out but it just dead end at this point.

It's been nearly 700 days. I have been getting substantially dumber, cognitively impaired and losing my personality day by day. I don't know what to say else right now. My mind is so blank that I can't even say how bad it is. I can't explain how bad it to lose my emotional feelings on top of my cognitive impairments.

I feel exactly the same. It's so frustrating, I can't even express my thoughts clearly and have a proper conversation anymore. I am not sure what's causing it though. I was on fluoxetine for a couple of years, never knew it had permanent effects.

I've been on Bupropion for 20 years. I think I can't experience the "highs" in life. Like a kids birth, puppies, etc. I know I should feel something, and I know how to act, but it's all superficial.

My main delay in ctb is having 4 hours isolated from other people and not getting saved. Runner up is making sure my family is financially prepared. I couldn't care less about the emotional damage, but want them to have money.I'm such an asshole, but it is how I feel. No emotion.

I took Zoloft and Adderall and they destroyed my brain, permanent brain damage. They're the primary reasons why I have to CTB. Doctors try to pass it off like "oh it's depression" but I know that's bullshit. On one hand they'll freely admit that illicit drug use causes damage but totally backpedal when it comes to drugs they give out. Hell, if a pharma company rebranded meth and had docs prescribe it I'd bet they'd defend it till the cows came home.

That does sound bad, I'm sorry that this is happening to you. If your not taking any drugs currently, you might want to look into nootropics, which are cognitive enhancers if you didn't know already.

If you go to the r/Nootropics reddit forum, there are people with a range of cognitive impairments that use nootropics, which are sometimes herbs, such as bacopa, holy basil, ginkgo, gotu kola for trying to help or repair cognitive problems. Some people seem to get some success that way, you'd have to search the forum.

Tried piracetam, it doesn't have an effect. My problem is probably not from a some sort of neurotransmitter deficiency but an semi permanent loop that causes epigenetic changes in one type of serotonin receptor. I haven't found anything yet to improve my situation even a bit.

I did my biggest mistake by taking serotonergic drugs as an autistic/aspie person. Something was already out of balance in my brain and only one dose of fluoxetine had had enough to push my brain into chronic disease. And I'm at the dead end right now.
