I feel guilty

Hello everyone. I have some problems which are hard to solve. Solving them is of course not impossible but I don't have any power to fight with them and to solve them. Really, I can't handle with life anymore.

I am married and love my wife really very much. In the same time I want to ctb because of the problems and she doesn't know it. When I see her I forget everything and be the most happiest man of the world. I have still a bit power to live and till everything gets worse, I will do it for my wife like everything is normal and I am happy. She deserves it. She doesn't work now. When I can't play this game anymore and ctb, what will she do? How will she pay the rental etc.? I feel guilty. What can I do? And is there anyone like me who is married, have no problem with his/her wife and fells guilty?

I'm not married FYI. But have you looked into life insurance? Sometimes it does cover suicide. This is truly something to look into if you haven't already. If you ever do end your life, at least your wife would have some extra money to help her stay on her feet. Can she work? I mean to ask if she is capable of working? If so, she could get by with life your insurance for a little but, while trying to get a job. It could be a cushion for her temporarily to further her degree in college or work her way up.



I can't say life is worth living personally. That's up to each person to decide for themself. But have you considered talking with your wife and perhaps a therapist? What about trying meds to increase your brain's serotonin level? It can sometimes help people to not feel as depressed. I'm not saying meds aren't often overrated, but sometimes they do help. Maybe your wife could help you get through this if you confide in her.




Please ponder what I've said. I understand life is a bitch. But please at least consider getting help and ruling out your options.

Life insurance is a good idea. Something that covers suicide. I must to have a look.

My wife studies at the moment. But the good new is, she is writing now her bachelor thesis. If she can do it successfully, she will graduate next month. I hope she can do it successfully and until that time everything will be same as now and don't get worse.

Then I can ctb with a little less guilt. At least I won't have to worry about how she make a living.

I'm not married but I have a partner and she's the only thing keeping me going. I too would feel terrible which is why I told her I'd try to give her a baby so she's not alone. I've heard all the reasons why it's a bad idea but they're not in my position

I agree with the others that giving her a baby is a bad idea but like you said that's your life and we don't feel what you feel. That's why we are not be able to understand you 100%.

Does your wife know about the problems?

Yes she know. But that changes nothing. For example, i left all my family and friends in my country and move to Germany to be with her. So my mom, my dad, my brother, all my friends are in an other country now and i have only contact over WhatsApp with them. So she won't understand me completely. And okay she is my wife but she doesn't feel what I feel. That was only an example :)
