I don’t understand why another year of torture is labelled as happy

I don't understand what is so happy about another year of existing beings tortured in this existence, I don't get why humans label that as happy, existence really is an abomination and the amount of suffering it causes is endless, existence just causes pain and suffering with no limit as to how much one can be tortured and another year of this is just so terrible and dreadful to me, the existence of life really is the most devastating, cruel, tragedy.

A new year just means another year of suffering. It's just a terrible reminder that I'm still here, like here are more years of suffering to endure.
