I am probably unemployable now

Right now things are looking bad for my job search. I tried applying for working for Amazon DPS, and also non tech jobs. And they won't even consider interviewing me. There is nothing I can do other than erasing all my work history to try and make myself look good for doing a basic low wage job. I've worked in IT for over 5 years, and now that the tech industry is bad, no other industry will even consider hiring me. Right now for death, all I have to do is make a will to make sure my family will get my assets and property after I pass away. There is also the issue of fascism in the world, I am a trans woman, and both parties are just embracing fascism, and the city of Fremont voted to criminalize homelessness and giving them aid

Have you considered becoming a teacher in tech? They say those who can't do teach... but if that's true, why not profit from it?

You could also retrain.

Many people make their resumes look worse to get jobs they are over-qualified for. It's part of the game and unfortunately unless you are wealthy you have to play it.

How much in savings do you have? How long can you afford to be without a job? Are you getting unemployment?

This has been the first week I've been applying to delivery driver positions with a fake resume, and so far I've gotten 3 interviews. I hope one of them pans out before I run out of unemployment. If I run out of unemployment, I'll probably kill myself. And my family will get all my assets

I use ChatGPT to alter my resume all the time if that may help. However, you said you're getting interviews which means the resume likely isn't the issue. The job market is rough right now, so I hope something works out for you

This week so far I haven't gotten a job, I've had 2 Amazon DPS interviews and no job. They do group interviews and there's no way to really make yourself stand out since anyone can do the job

It's a numbers game, just keep applying.

Leave out anything on your resume that sounds too experienced.

Also, some companies use analytics and data and will buy information about job candidates in bulk, then run them through AI, and so you're going to get disqualified for being too smart from some things, even if you play it smart.

Can you do something like dog walking to just get some money coming in while you keep applying? You could advertise locally without using your full name and just accept cash only?

How many jobs have you applied to? Would you consider relocating? There's a big need for senior care that's only going to go up. It's not always a glamorous job, but it's needed and being a valuable member of society. (If you got a job like that, you could also teach seniors to use computers, like a class, if you wanted.)

Keep trying. It's not personal, just statistics. Eventually you'll get a job after X number of applications.
