A quick injection of propofol burns like hell. Propofol-Lipuro means 50% less pain. A formula specially produced by Braun to reduce the pain of injection of propofol. I have Propofol-Lipuro but will still use lidocaine before the injection. I don't think the injection of thiopental and N is painful but depending on the concentration it could be. Because the IV solution of N is highly concentrated, it may be painful.

It hurts a bit when placing a cannula on my hand. I don't even feel the needle go in when I place it on my arm. I think it has to do with old age. I no longer feel when a fly walks on my foot :)

I was projecting. My veins are difficult to hit (and I guess they roll "abnormally"?), and I've had some bad experiences due to that and also just because the person doing it was very bad at it. I need some kind of desensitization or something.
