Anyone tried changing what you're sleeping on? I found that the mattress I was sleeping on was causing me a lot of trouble, changed it and I sleep a lot better now.
After taking ambien and benzos for so many years, I have built up quite a tolerance to them. I would not get a wink of sleep without them though.
That's a big part of the reason I want to shuffle off this mortal coil.
As long as I'm in full-on NEET-mode I don't have a problem sleeping. If I have a job interview or something similar I have to have had a good sleep schedule going for a couple of weeks or more and good sleep hygiene in order to sleep (in combination with not comparing myself to others, worrying about the future or placing any importance on anything). I actually managed to fuck up my sleep schedule these last days so if I get hit with a job interview or decide to pick an education I might start losing a lot of sleep.
I don't sleep well. It's extremely difficult for me to switch off. My mind is always thinking. Eventaully I completely wear myself out and fall asleep for a few hours. The whole process then starts again....

I literally drink until I black out most of the time (@WornOutLife we are drinking compatriots). I never sleep for more than 5 hours unless I force myself to. The nights are difficult and the mornings even more so. This week I'm going to rely on sleeping pills and take a break from drinking.
My sleep right now, i either don't sleep for a couple days or i sleep for a couple days straight. But then again im not taking my meds as i should be doing so im only sleeping when i do take them but then cause i usually haven't slept in a couple days they knock me clean out.
All over the place. I have been prescribed with medication, it doesn't work. And when I do go to sleep, I'm asleep for hours. It's peaceful though...I hope death is like that.
