Then look at what the book of Daniel says about itself which was written over 500 years before Revelation.

The Book of Revelation was written in the 1st cent CE.
The Book of Daniel was written in the 2nd cent BCE.

That =/= "500 years". Do the math.

"But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased." Dan. 12:4

The word "even" is not in the original language, it's just an English add on in whatever translation you're using, so I don't know why you put it in italics.

Facts from actual history plow the Christian apologetics into the ground because facts always come before fantasy.

According to my source the book of Daniel was written between 607 B.C. AND 534 B.C. and the book of Revelation was written between A.D. 91 and 96 so that would be well over 500 years apart.

Also the book of Daniel was written in partly Hebrew and partly Aramaic so which original language are you referring to?

Also it was the people God used to put together the King James 1611 Bible that put the word "even" in Italics... Not me I just quoted from it.

Try looking at scholarly sources instead of Christian Apologetic sources, then you will see that the Book of Daniel was written in the 2nd cent. BCE and was NOT written "between 607 B.C. AND 534 B.C."

Also the book of Daniel was written in partly Hebrew and partly Aramaic so which original language are you referring to?

Chapter 12 (which you quoted from) was written in Hebrew, which I'm fluent in.

Also it was the people God used to put together the King James 1611 Bible that put the word "even" in Italics... Not me I just quoted from it.

Self proclaimed "people of God". They were just ordinary people who didn't do a very good job translating from the original languages.

Well, I'm sorry you don't understand the difference between "scholarly sources" and "Christian Apologetics" sources.

Peter Ruckman is FAR from being a scholar. Very FAR!

He is a Christian Apologist of the "KJ only" variety. Not a scholar.

Most people may die of old age or disease- maybe a few in an accident of some form. Lower percentages of murder and suicide, but could be possible.

It is crazy to think about, crazy but interesting.
I remember standing in a shopping mall once supermarket thinking the same thing looking around I was caught in a daze as I imagined everyone in that room would be dead one day

Quite a surreal feeling

I would second what another user says. Probably from old age and disease. Some will die in some sort of accident. Suicide and homicide seem relatively rare.

This is really interesting to think about. I agree with others that old age and disease would be how majority would die. I think suicide would be the cause of death probably for like 1% of people

By definition he is a scholar. https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/scholar

His scholarly credentials are like this.

Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Alabama. (Probably 2 years)
Master of Arts and Doctor of Philosophy degree from Bob Jones University. (6 years worth of study into 4 years)

Also...

He wrote over 100 books / booklets
He started his own school that has graduated 100's of people.
Said he read over 20,000 books in his life (One a day for over 60 years I think I heard him say once)
And he studied Greek, Hebrew, (Wrote books on how to teach both) and most likely Latin as well If your thinking more along the lines of a classical scholar.

its weird to think while standing in line at a busy store that eventually everyone in that place will be dead.
It's going to be like Venezuela in the US especially when dollar collapses. Many people will die of starvation, untreated illness.

Climate change. Less than 30 years. I'm not even kidding. In less than 10 years the arctic will melt.

Yup, that's one of the three. Energy, Economy, Environment. They're all screwed. Food and medicines, perhaps most importantly clean water, rely on hugely complex systems which are going to break down. Billions too many people living as consumers of cheap oil based on unsustainable growth and dying ecosystems. Welcome back the four horsemen.

Old age? Famine or cholera more like.

Crude oil will decline, agriculture and food transportation will seize up, and those people will have longer and longer amounts of time lining up at the store with its emptying shelves. We eat dependent on fossil fuels, Nat gas for fertiliser, oil in pesticides and machinery. That is what the green revolution was. Most people alive today will starve, die in violence or (nuclear) resource wars. Big reason I want to ctb.
that stuff is def coming, but not for most people alive today. Maybe in 60-100 years or so when climate change really gets going.
And starving to death is not so excruciating as some diseases in old age.

People here are already dying of such I'm afraid. About 40,000 a year die from being under or not insured.

Food shortages are supposedly already on the way, shipping problems, supply chain problems from lockdowns (even steel to make tins - Italian tomato harvests are being left to rot in the fields, and poor crop yields and droughts. Then you have inflation, the perilous state of the economy and financial system, and now us dumb Brits pressing Vlads buttons with that ship in the Crimea.

Then this winter I think will be carnage health wise, hospitals will not be able to cope.

So war, famine, pestilence basically.

Lets see how things pan out over the next 3 to 6 months.
