I have acid reflux where the food comes up the throat. It can get so bad that water can come up and I can regurgitate/ruminate just plain water if my stomach is full enough. Would this ultimately be TERRIBLE and lead to failure to die via Sodium Nitrite? Like would I just vomit it ALL out and have a failed attempt or no? I don't have any meto or anti anxiety meds to help. Or any antiemetics… :( would I still be successful or no? Completely and utterly fail? :(

Do you take medication? I had pretty bad acid reflux , but since I started taking omeprazole (Prilosec) its only an issue when I forget my meds. I can pretty much eat/drink anything without issue. Because of the way the meds work, it takes about 2 weeks before its fully effective, but I would recommend at least trying it.

I don't take medication but how bad would it be? Because again I don't take medications for it…

Bump.

Having the same issue, although not as extreme in your case. I wish finding info about this was easier. I'm also worried I'll fail at my attempt.

Why shouldn't it work? According to the protocol, a second glass is recommended if you throw up.

SN obviously needs to be absorbed in order for it to kill you. The issue is stomach acid plays a key role in that absorption. If OP were to puke immediately due to their acid reflux, not much SN would be absorbed. And who's to say they don't immediately puke again after the second glass?

I'm more curious on how a stomach experiencing indigestion would absorb SN and the time frame of that. The biology behind it. I remember reading something similar in another thread, but it was a long time ago and I can't find it. So I just decided to bump OP's post to see if any of those bio nerds would come out of the wood works.

I think we underestimate SN too much. It begins to be absorbed already upon contact with the mucous membranes, be it the eyes or the oral cavity. I don't think he can't handle someone with acid reflux. It may take more glasses to guarantee, but it is unlikely that this will not be feasible. I don't think it affects the result much, SN is incredibly toxic.

It might not be the best method for you but remember we are taking multiple times lethal dose which is anywhere from 1-6gm. You might have better comfort with meto + ondansetron + PPI. I would just keep 3–4 glasses for backup

To end PPIs are probably best taken in your case from a few days prior it would reduce the stomach acidity. It's one of the meds used to treat acid reflux

Couldn't I just keep on drinking cup after cup? Until I pass out? Or just shove in a whole bunch of the salt in the water and keep on chugging it? Glass after glass? Cup after cup until I FINALLY Pass out and die?! :).

It wouldn't easy to drink it continuously. If you read other peoples reports, and it tastes pretty bad and stomach will try to eject it out even if you don't have this acid reflux and all. But I think it all depends on if your stomach can keep it in and your ability to chug it.

You know just few grams itself can be lethal. So you don't necessarily need to dump too much stuff in. It will increase discomfort. You will succeed likely but might not be very peaceful without meds.
