I think that's a misplaced empathy...why would I blame myself if someone I've never met use the opportunity and throw themselves infront of my vehicle...
But if I found a dear person dead I'd probably think have I done something wrong...

I don't think you can really misplace empathy, you either have it or you don't. In fact I don't even see sympathy for the train driver. Maybe its part of some people's MH issues so I can't judge people's opinions per se if that is how they feel, but it is certainly something that I would be interested in seeing a poll on. There are probably quite a few ethical dilemma questions that could be posed that would highlight and help educate on the empathy not being seen.

No high buildings near me for literal miles and I can't get drugs because of shit UK laws
What UK laws? i got everything i needed. loads of people from the uk did..just to let u know.
Just call me the broken record, but again, if a little elderly lady in a hospital bed can be successful, how hard can it be? Method begins on Page 209:

Five Last Acts (800+ pages - 2015): https://www.load.to/d5R8OuUEjD/Five_Last_Acts__2015_.pdf

...and nothing to buy, plus no other innocent person will be traumatized for life!
cant see the link, what method is it about? just out of interest, for my own research.

i feel like even though it is a sad to thing to have to conclude there are many many cases and circumstances (not all of course!) when at the end of the day that persons family have actually in some way (or even directly) contributed to that persons final decision to ctb-it sure will be the case for me!- a train driver however can not be liable at all for the saddness and desperation that person has reached-and yet they have to deal with seeing them (and it can be v.very brutal lets not forget) violently die right in front of them.

@Gothsinner - A "reef" knot is just a square knot. These folks like Stan, GoodGuy, Soup, Aoneway, etc, care about others. That's why they're offering different ways that don't involve anyone else. You're not being judged.

Sent you a PM, Melting

Yes they do I'm thinking of going to a quiet station that most trains skip so it doesn't slow
Don't listen to others who are judging you. If this is the best and most comfortable way you feel about taking your life then you do what you want.

I agree. I don't understand why a train conductor would blame themselves either. It's not as if they're driving a car and aiming for the person.
It's not about blame. Have you ever had a job? Say for example you worked at McDonalds. Let's say it's a drive thru. "Please collect your order at the next window"
" Thank you Sir that's $11.99"
SPLATTT.
160lb of human remains hits your pay window. Without warning. You were expecting $11.99. It's not your fault, but it's not what you signed up for, you dont deserve this trauma and hell, if you have an iota of empathy in your soul, you're not going to close your eyes without seeing that for several years.
What sort of an asshole would drag a, as far as you know, otherwise happy human being into their personal nightmare because somehow they have arrived at the the conclusion you can just 'do whatever you want'?
I'd caution that this line of thinking is flawed, unless you're a psychopath in which case you may want to revise your thinking anyway.
Other people matter. They just do.

The road i live on has one of two lines out of my city , which is a dead end city , there are two lines and the barriers are constantly down for longer than they have to be , 25 minutes quite often as they dont raise them if other trains is coming ... some times 5 trains causing huge traffic jams.
Long story short a few years ago someone jumped under the train ,
So selfish , the traffic was blocked for hours ,everyone was well pissed off .... I`m a Northerner lol
A train driver never gets blood and guts splattered on the windscreen so they dont see much really and i`m pretty sure most suffer" trauma " so they can have lots of time off work on full pay , it`s not like they are constantly wishing they had swerved .

Having said that i still dont think its right to "involve " others .
