Wikipedia's barbital page makes it sound easy but gives very little detail. There must be better information somewhere that is understandable?

There used to be recipes posted as I recall by PPH or some place similar. There was also a video of elderly people in Australia making some. I haven't been able to find the recipe. However it's not easy.
