no but i get on the verge of blacking out before my grip loosens .
That's the same as me!!!! Like when I practice hanging, I get all the dizzy numbness and tingly stuff but I can't loose conciousness whatsoever.

I've read that the actual hanging attempt is when you finally go YOLO and loose consciousness by going though with your ctb plan. I've also read you can practice loosing consciousness where you have a fail safe where the anchor point is not tied (haven't tried it, will try it later in the day. React to this comment to remind me to give you a run down of what happened)

This resource may help. It's similar to the night-night method in that you use something to block the carotid arteries. Will help with the lack of losing conscious part. The socks go on the part of your neck you press with your fingers to make yourself dizzy.

You may just have to play with the thickness of the socks, or placement.

Do you have a "run down of what happens"?

Yes.

So after the noose is already on my neck tightend and the other end is looped over the bar (not tied).
I pull the looped end of the rope down and force my head down semi-hard and start to feel a dullness in my ears, vision goes patchy, I start feeling numb, and a warm buzz circulates my body (specifically my lips and arms). I have timed this and it happens around 14 seconds in my "attempt". I think can't breathe and loosen my noose cause of it lol

The reason to why I put a little bit of pressure is because I don't want to hurt myself while practising. Also, I just really need to get to this point and hop off my chair in my actual FS ctb.
