• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

    👉 View the ledger here

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

As with almost everything surrounding the topic, it's personal, if for you it's pointless, then don't do it.

Reasons for it may be, to explain why, how, goodbyes, expectations, hopes, wants, to confort those you left behind. It may seem pointless but to a lot of people it's the last essence they're leaving behind or probably the only chance of being extremely raw, vulnerable and having complete honesty, it's the only place where expressing feelings will have no consequences at all since the person that writes it will have passed.

It's up to the individual whether to write a note or not, I guess it depends whether they have anything they wish to say to those left behind, I believe notes are often written as an explanation to try and make others understand.

I used this one as the basis of mine, every time someone posts something in here that describes how I feel much better than I could I bookmark it.
